It wants you to be just like them again: walking in the "futility" of your minds and in the "foolishness and emptiness of your soul! "For their [moral] understanding is darkened and their reasoning is clouded; [they are] alienated and self-banished from the life of God." Study Ephesians 4:17-18.
Before you came to Christ, you lived according to the customs of the "world" that applauds sin and opposes God. Those in the "world" who hate Jesus, are perishing! We were part of that lot! But we are now called to live differently! Scripture says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Beloved, that OLD LIFE DIED when you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour (study Galatians 2:20). Your life now is a NEW ONE. The problem is although you are a new person, your environment hasn’t changed! SIN STILL ABOUNDS!
However, the Bible teaches us how to live clean and pure lives even though "the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one" (1 John 5:19)! So how does one live in a world that is ran by Satan, where temptations and tribulations abound, make sure you tune in to find out!
