Today, we will be looking at the works of the flesh as Paul outlines in Galatians, chapter 5. If we find that our lives are characterized by any of these fruitless dead works of the flesh, we must repent and come out of them! IMMEDIATELY!
Beloved, the real Jesus Christ absolutely expects for us to "Go, and sin no more" (John 8:11)! He most certainly expect us to be holy, as He is holy! But if you are grieving Holy Spirit in the sanctification process, then you would never know what it is truly like to live a life without willful deliberate sin. Again, let me make the analogy, it's one thing when we miss the mark and fall in the dirt. It is an entirely different thing to make missing the mark a lifestyle where you are now rolling in the dirt!! Your life looks no different than it did before you came to Christ! No one can even tell that you are a child of God!
You are still cursing, you are still fornicating, you refuse to come up out of these adulterous remarriages, you are still smoking your weed, you are still lying, stealing, committing murder, you are still a unforgiving deceiver and backbiter. You are still holding on to grudges. You still got beef with your neighbor! You ain't trying to resolve the matter! You are still the biggest gossip in the church! You can't hold nothing close to your vest, because you're out looking for the first person to divulge what was spoken to you in secret! You believe it's your job to spread rumors! All you want to do is be messy and scandalous! But you're the same one who keeps claiming Jesus as your Lord and Savior! You are greatly deceived! AND FOR THAT REASON, WE ARE GOING OVER ONCE AGAIN THE WORKS OF THE FLESH, SO WE DON'T DIE AND GO TO ! Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
