💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as I exhort: WE MUST TAKE THE BLINDERS OFF IF WE ARE TO FOLLOW CHRIST CLOSELY! Many well-meaning believers are falling into ditches following blind guides who teach doctrines of devils! They want to believe that it doesn't matter how they live their lives, as long as they make a "confession" for Christ and believe that His blood "covers" their future sins. They want to have "eternal security," while living for self and the pleasures and treasures of this "world" and its systems of evil, all in the Name of claiming Jesus as their Savior! They are DECEIVED and BLIND! Scripture is clear: "...The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity" (2 Timothy 2:19)! We are not called to be blind sheep, living according to our INIQUITOUS wayward will (devising our own man-made plan of salvation. Living by the torches we have set of ablaze for ourselves and not living according to God's will and His holy standards)! Study Isaiah 50:10-11.
👉🏾 Psalm 119:1–3 declares that when we walk in God’s ways, we do no iniquity: “Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord. Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.”
👉🏾 Ephesians 1:4 says that God chose us in Christ even "before the foundation of the world." 1 Peter 1:20 says that Christ Himself was foreknown by the Father in the same way. God didn't just know about us; He knew us—personally, somehow—and He chose us. Moreover, we are chosen "through the sanctifying work of the Spirit to be obedient to Jesus Christ" (see 1 Peter 1:2). That means God's Holy Spirit is involved in making us "set apart" just for God, in making us people God can call "holy!"
We are commanded to live holy! Christ died so that we are set free from the bondage and slavery of sin. We no longer face God’s holy and just wrath. Jesus tells us to sin no more. Holiness is not an option! Christ came so that we don't have to walk in the darkness, but rather in the Light:
"I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes and trusts in Me [as Savior—all those who anchor their hope in Me and rely on the truth of My message] will not continue to live in darkness" (John 12:46). Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
