Well, Romans 3:18 tells us why a person can: (1) Refuse to seek after God and refuse to walk in His way. (2) Have no value to God and His work because they have turned away from following His will. (3) Have poisonous tongues. (4) Are people of violence. (5) Do not know the way of peace - they have no right standing with God:
👉🏾v. 18 “THERE IS NO FEAR OF GOD BEFORE THEIR EYES.”
Christ Jesus warns in Matthew 10:28, "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in ."
When there's no fear of God, there will be no turning from sin, and thus, you will perish for all of eternity! In Christ, we have been given the awesome privilege of receiving God's Holy Spirit to empower us to turn away from sin! Without fearing and respecting God, you will go on to live a life that is characterized by sin! Matters become worse, when you adhere to false doctrines that allow you to stay ignorant of the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ, believing He tolerates sin! COME OUT FROM AMONGST THEM AND BE SANCTIFIED!
Ecclesiastes 12:13 sums it all up for us:
"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man."
Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
