We have to always remember that we, too, died with Christ (study Galatians 2:20) and we, too, shall be resurrected as He was resurrected! When Christ conquered death for us, He removed the “sting of death:” sin —that is, we will not be judged by God according to our sins; rather, we will stand before God robed in Christ’s own perfect righteousness. Christ has received our death penalty for sin and, through His death, has conquered death!! OUR RESURRECTED SAVIOR REMAINS ALIVE STILL TILL THIS DAY, seated at the right hand of God the Father in Heaven! Amen!
Romans 8:37, “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us].” To conquer is to be victorious over an adversary. To be "more than a conqueror" means we not only achieve victory, but we are OVERWHELMINGLY victorious!! Therefore, we must strip "off every unnecessary weight and the sin which so easily and cleverly entangles us, let us run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us, [looking away from all that will distract us and] focusing our eyes on Jesus" (study Hebrews 12:1-2).
In all seven letters to the churches in Asia Minor, the Lord ends with a promise to the one who overcomes. This gives us much to look forward to. Remembering Romans 6:8, "...we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live [together] with Him." WE SHALL BE OVERCOMERS!! Be holy. Live clean. Consider all your ways before the LORD! Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
