God is good, and His ways are lifegiving. Concerning matters that God has clearly addressed, we do not negotiate, bargain, or compromise with sin! The flesh is sneaky and we have an adversary that's looking to subtly drag us back to his kingdom and he will do this through hypocrisy and compromise and deception! We must be ever watchful, for we are not ignorant of his devices and schemes!
Beloved, there are things about which we should not compromise:
• The essentials of the Christian faith, including the gospel (1 Corinthians 15:3–6) and the faithful preaching of the Word (2 Timothy 4:2).
• The Lordship and Authority of Christ (Luke 16:13).
• Your personal convictions (Romans 14:5).
• Moral issues, as defined in Scripture (1 Corinthians 6:18).
🚨 Romans 13:14 - "But clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for [nor even think about gratifying] the flesh in regard to its improper desires."
Compromise and Hypocrisy is knowing what is right to do according to the Word of God, and choosing to deliberately to go against it in some way. As followers of Jesus', any time that we choose to compromise God's truth and disobey His Word, there are many detrimental eternal results. Most important, we displease God, and when we sin, this always hinders God's true blessings upon our lives. The conviction of being a hypocrite is both degrading spiritually and emotionally and brings no lasting joy. When we recognize and admit, and turn away from hypocrisy in any area in our life, only then will we grow further into the fullness of the maturity of Jesus Christ. Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
