Romans 6:12-14 “Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.”
The Bible is clear in that, it promises the faithful disciples of Christ: Victory over sin! In other words, it is God’s intention for His servants that they CEASE COMPLETELY FROM SIN! God's grace is amazing and through this remarkable, undeserved, favor it teaches us to:
"...reject ungodliness and worldly (immoral) desires, and to live sensible, upright, and godly lives [lives with a purpose that reflect spiritual maturity] in this present age" (Titus 2:12).
At the end of the day, Judgment Day is coming! Romans 13:11-14, tells the whole story that we BETTER WAKE UP to:
"11 Do this, knowing that this is a critical time. It is already the hour for you to awaken from your sleep [of spiritual complacency]; for our salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed [in Christ]. 12 The night [this present evil age] is almost gone and the day [of Christ’s return] is almost here. So let us fling away the works of darkness and put on the [full] armor of light. 13 Let us conduct ourselves properly and honorably as in the [light of] day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and irresponsibility, not in quarreling and jealousy. 14 But clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for 👉🏾🤮[nor even think about gratifying] the flesh in regard to its improper desires." Amen! 🎯 Repent and believe and turn back to God!
