The sin of FORNICATION, aka, sexual immorality, WILL ALWAYS lead to eternal destruction! Folks, this sin right, almost cost me my eternal soul! So I know what I speak of, when I tell you, I agree with the the LORD when He tells us to flee sexual immorality! RUN!! The Bible tells us in Ephesians 5:3-7, "But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people." Amen!
What is fornication and what does the Bible tells us of the eternal destination for the fornicator?
The Greek root word for sexual immorality/fornication is porneia (from which we get the English word pornography) meaning illicit sexual intercourse, i.e., adultery, homosexuality, intercourse with animals or close relatives, or with a divorced person, with unmarried people, with one's self (masturbation), etc. It also stems from porneuo, which has a similar meaning, but also is defined as prostitution and lust. ANY sexual activity, outside of the holy confines of a covenant marriage, is sexual immorality - it is SIN!!
People, we must realize, there's only two destinations once we dropped the body suit: Heaven or ! To summarize today's exhortation, God hates sexual sin, He hates any defilement of the gift of sexuality, and He hates any dishonoring of marriage - the only right context for sexuality. Sexual sin degrades and misuses the body which God indwells, as His temple, in the believer. God is perfectly clear in His judgment on sexual immorality: those who practices it and don't repent, will not enter His Kingdom! Their place will be the Lake that burns with fire and burning sulfur for all of eternity with no rest or relief! Be holy. Live clean wholesome lives! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
