We are under the blood covenant! A New Covenant, different and separate from the Old Covenant that Israel had with God! The one they broke! This is the New Covenant that Jesus has established for us, Gentiles:
Luke 22:20, "And in the same way He took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup, which is poured out for you, is the new covenant [ratified] in My blood"
FIRST things first, Christ has liberated us from the bondage of the Law of Moses! God wants His people to know that Jesus has fulfilled the Law on our behalf and rescued us from the penalty of not being able to keep all the Law. He saved us from God's curse/eternal damnation! We, New Covenant, born-again believers in Christ, are NOT commanded to do any parts of the Law, and that includes Tithing, or Sabbath-keeping, or keeping the 10 Commandments!
We fulfill ALL the Law by keeping 2 commandments that Jesus gave us. He summed up the whole Law by saying: 36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” 37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 22:36-40
Soooo, 🤓 I HATE TO BREAK IT TO YOU TORAH-KEEPERS!
BUT US GENTILES (& THAT INCLUDES YOU TOO!) WERE NOT GIVEN THE LAW! So please for harmony's sake: STOP IT!! You're a STUMBLING BLOCK! YOU CAN'T DRAG US INTO THE LAW WITH YOUR MISINTERPRETATIONS!
Let me help you get your mind straight: We were Never Under the Old Covenant Law!!!!!! And please stop with all this calling Jesus by Hebrew names! You're not that deep! It just only proves how ignorant you truly are!
Don't believe me, study the following:
Malachi 4:4 - “Remember [with thoughtful concern] the Law of Moses My servant, the statutes and the ordinances which I commanded him on [Mount] Horeb 👉[to give] to all Israel.
Romans 2:14 - "For when the Gentiles, 👉which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves."
Psalm 147:19 - "He declares His word to Jacob, His statutes and His ordinances 👉to Israel."
Matthew 5:47 - "And if you greet only your brothers [wishing them God’s blessing and peace], what more [than others] are you doing? Do not even the Gentiles 👉[who do not know the Lord] do that?"
Galatians 4:8 - "But at that time, when you did 👉not know [the true] God and were unacquainted with Him, you 👉[Gentiles] were slaves to those [pagan] things which by [their very] nature were not and could not be gods at all.
In Acts, chapter 17, these Greek (Gentiles) men worship everything but the True and Living God. They even erected an altar with this inscription: "TO AN UNKNOWN GOD." This altar was constructed for the purpose of acknowledging any god who had been overlooked! Not only did Gentiles not have a covenant with the God of Israel, they were oblivious to what Christ had done for the entire world: dying for the sins of humanity. So Paul preached them the Gospel. Namely telling them in Acts 17:30 that in "times past, God overlooked their ignorance, but now commands all men everywhere to repent."
Study, beloved, to show yourself approved! Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
