Folks, Jesus our Great Shepherd, exhorts us to let no one deceive you. Church denominations are NOT of Christ, NOR of the Father! There is ONLY ONE CHURCH, ONE BODY and they both belong to Jesus, of which He laid down His life for!! These rogue denominations came about from men and women of corrupt minds, destitute of the truth! They abandoned the true Church of Jesus Christ; and as withered, broken-off branches and twigs, coaxed and enticed other believers to leave as well and be "members" of their new sect. So now, these members identify themselves by the denomination they "belong" to. These "founders" have fallen from grace and had the unmitigated gall to slap their names on a church building and call themselves: Catholics, Baptists, Jehovah's Witnesses, Methodists, Mormons, Lutherans, Pentecostals, Wesleyans, Charismatics, Adventists, Nazarenes, and the like...including all non-denominationals! All these broken-off branches, a.k.a., denominations, practice the "schism" (division) that Paul aggressively rebuked the church at Corinth for doing this very thing, “Now I exhort you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment. For I have been informed concerning you, my brethren, by Chloe’s people, that there are quarrels among you. Now I mean this, that each one of you is saying, ‘I am of Paul,’ and ‘I of Apollos,’ and ‘I of Cephas,’ and ‘I of Christ.’ Has Christ been divided? Paul was not crucified for you, was he? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?” (1 Corinthians 1:10-13). Those who have started these denominations, have departed from Christ and He never ratified their schismatic endeavors! The real Jesus Christ IS NOT in any of these churches! We are commanded to "mark" and "avoid" them that causes "divisions" and "offences" (study Romans 16:17-18)! Amen! 🎯 Repent and believe and turn back to God!
