💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as we examine: Who are the children of God? Many claim to be children of the Most High God, but their lives have not changed! They still operate secularly in the "world," claiming the Name of Jesus, but these are they whose hearts are far from Jesus. They are not walking in obedience. They are only "believing," but not obeying Jesus! Their professed "belief" has not compelled them to turn from their sin. They have not "put on the new man." They may not even be born-again 🥺!
We will see from Scripture, that those who are born-again and have God's Holy Spirit indwelling them, DO NOT deliberately, knowingly, and habitually practice sin! It's not possible for a child of God to go on willfully sinning, because God's righteous character lives in them! We practice righteousness and strive consistently to live a holy life, both in public and in private. And not only that, but we love the brethren! This is how we know who the children of God are!
Some who claim they "know" Jesus, really don't know Him at all! They don't listen to Jesus! They don't follow Jesus! They don't know His voice! And they don't obey Jesus! This one is not His sheep! Jesus commands us to remain in Him, to abide in Him, so that we bear much fruit of righteousness to the glory of God. Scripture teaches us that to know Jesus, being deeply acquainted with Him, is to habitually keep focused on His precepts and obey His commandments! Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
