💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as I exhort: Jesus tells us EXACTLY who will NOT be going to Heaven! It is the one whose life is characterized by sin, who's walking in willful disobedience and darkness, who lives in hypocrisy - claiming the Name of Jesus, but refuses to stay out of blatant sin, the one who refuses to forgive, the one who rejects Christ Jesus - basically the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God! Conversely, He does tell us who will:
"He who overcomes [the world by adhering faithfully to Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior] will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son" (Revelation 21:7).
"Because lawlessness is increased, the love of most people will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures and bears up [under suffering] to the end will be saved" (Matthew 24:12-13).
Beloved, we must die to self! If we are truly serious about our salvation, we find out what pleases the Father and then do that! And whatever does not please Him, we don't do it! The Bible tells us to "consider ourselves dead to sin and our relationship with it broken!" (Study Romans, chapter 6). We are not safe yet until Christ returns or we go by the way of the grave and hear "Well done, good and faithful servant" (Matthew 25:23). In the meantime, while we are still in the earth, we live clean, holy, upright lives, knowing that the Day of Christ's return is fastly approaching; and He will have His reward with Him to give to every man according to their deeds and the fruit of their doings!
The Apostle Paul said this of himself: "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me" (Galatians 2:20). And of believers, he said "For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory" (Colossians 3:3-5).
Jesus said "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me" (Matthew 16:24; Luke 9:23). Several times, He said the following: "For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel's will save it" (Mark 8:35). 'Nuff said!! Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
