We will be delving into those Scriptures that backs up Jesus' teaching on this topic. There are a lot of brethren who are currently in remarriages that are not sanctioned by the God in whom they profess to honor and obey. This is why we must keep at it with these exhortations/lessons and trusting Jesus for His interpretation on what He has taught in His Word.
💥 IF YOU DIVORCE AND YOUR 1ST SPOUSE IS STILL ALIVE, ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE, IF THERE BE NO RECONCILIATION, YOU CANNOT REMARRY! YOU MUST REMAIN UNMARRIED, AND IT GOES WITHOUT SAYING CELIBATE!! 💥
Many have the problem that most "professing" lukewarm Christians have - they don't ADHERE to Jesus' teachings that personally affect their flesh in some way and, therefore, discount anyone who brings forth His exact teachings! For starters, you don't get to stay in your sins when you repent and are forgiven, and last we checked, ADULTERY is still a sin! Secondly, you cannot formulate your own plan of salvation. You cannot advocate that remarriage is "fine" once you ask God for forgiveness and you get to stay in it. Well, Christ Jesus says it's ADULTERY - it's an adulterous remarriage, as long as you're in it when you have a LIVING covenant spouse!
