💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as I exhort: You've been set at liberty, so don't go back to sin and bondage!!! "It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery" (Galatians 5:1). Amen! When you know you have been set at liberty, you have no problem in obeying Christ!! Why? Because, "where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty" (2 Corinthians 3:17)!!! Amen!
Why is there liberty where the Spirit of the Lord is? Because those who are in Christ—those born of God’s Spirit (John 3:5–6)—are freed from the law of sin and death! Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is the liberty to deny the flesh and our own selfish desires for the purpose of obeying God, pleasing Him, and bringing glory to His name!!
💥 The word of the LORD came to me back on January 23rd 2023, and the LORD wants His people to rejoice in their liberation in Christ! Thus saidth the LORD, "you have been set at liberty. Freedom from sin is yours. Enjoy your liberation!"
However, in your liberation (aka your call to freedom), do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh (study Galatians 5:13) because many have! In other words, don't use your freedom to indulge the flesh! In Christ, we do not use grace as a covering to do evil! But rather, grace teaches us how to live godly and holy lives! Where the Spirit is, there will always be liberty and empowerment to overcome sin!
📣 So enjoy your liberation! You've been set at liberty, and whatever you do, don't go back to sin and bondage!!!
Listen, don't squander your liberation in Christ by living a life of reckless rebellion and in offensiveness to God by your unwillingness to walk in the newness of life! Do not be led astray by false doctrines that lure you away from the wholesome righteous teachings of Jesus Christ! Don't get tangled up and enslaved by sin again! Lest we forget: "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God [that is, His remarkable, overwhelming gift of grace to believers] is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23)!
