You will be misunderstood, you will be insulted, you will be called judgmental and self-righteous. Why? All because you are bringing the wholesome TRUE teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ and His soul-saving, heart-pricking Gospel to a godless "world" who hates Him! Therefore, they will hate you too because you carry His message. When we stand with the Lord Jesus Christ, expect rejection, expect persecution!
But guess what? THAT'S A WONDERFUL THING! SO REJOICE!
Lord Jesus says, “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you” (Matthew 5:10-12 ). Amen!
He tells us in the following passages why He's hated and why you will be likewise:
🚩John 3:19-20 - "This is the judgment [that is, the cause for indictment, the test by which people are judged, the basis for the sentence]: the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. 20 For every wrongdoer hates the Light, and does not come to the Light [but shrinks from it] for fear that his [sinful, worthless] activities will be exposed and condemned."
🚩John 15:18 - “If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you."
🚩John 15:25 - "But they have done this to fulfill the word that is written in their Law, ‘They hated Me without a cause.’"
🚩Matthew 10:22 - "You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved."
🚩Matthew 24:9 - "Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name."
See beloved, that's why you will be hated, but don't take it personal! Folks, this AIN'T personal. This is Kingdom Business! No servant is greater than His Master. We've counted the cost of what it truly means to be a Christ follower! Expect the confrontation and rejection! It's supposed to happen if you are preaching the true Gospel! If they persecuted and hated our Lord and Savior, rest assured you will be persecuted and hated as well. IT'S TO BE EXPECTED 🙂!
Let us all be encouraged and remain faithful to Jesus and endure until the end, ANYWAY, for great is our reward in Heaven! Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
