But when Sanballat the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite
official and Geshem the Arab heard about it, they mocked and ridiculed us. “What is this you are doing?” they asked. “Are you rebelling against the king?”
I answered them by saying, “The God of heaven will give us success. We his servants will start rebuilding, but as for you, you have no share in Jerusalem or any claim or historic right to it.”

Sanballat was very angry when he learned that we were
rebuilding the wall. He flew into a rage and mocked the Jews.

The enemy hates the truth so he will do anything to twist
it.
Nehemiah 4:2-3
1. It always starts with divisive Questions.
2. Attacking the Values
A distraction with divisive questions is a diversion.
3. It continues with planting seeds of doubt.
The problem is too big a mindset, will always keep you from
starting it.
"Just because we can’t do everything, doesn’t mean we
can’t do something"
4. When all else fails it ends with sarcastic
redirection.
Lies don’t last nearly as long as truth.

Intimacy with God is about Honesty before God.
Don’t allow a critic who is critical of you, turn you into a
critic who is critical of them
