In Part 2 of this six-part Hell in the Heartland series, Raven Rollins speaks with author Jax Miller about her in-depth investigation into the disappearance of Ashley Freeman and Lauria Bible.
Jax shares her journey writing Hell in the Heartland, her interactions with the victims’ families, and the emotional weight of telling a story that remained unresolved for years.
This conversation offers a deeper look into the lives of Ashley and Lauria—beyond the headlines—and the lasting impact their case has had on those still searching for answers.
Jax Miller is the author of Hell in the Heartland. She was a producer for the 4 episode docuseries based on her book, Hell in the Heartland: What Happened to Ashley and Lauria? (HLN, but currently streaming on Amazon Prime with Discovery+), and the case of Ashley Freeman and Lauria Bible. Jax is also a writer for NBC, Bravo, and Oxygen.
