Emily Ritter is an assistant professor of digital design at Newman University. She has a background in visual arts, specifically printmaking, which she studied at Wichita State and Arizona State University. Before joining Newman, she did an internship at Women's Studio Workshop in Upstate New York. Emily enjoys teaching digital design, including animation using Adobe Animate, which she finds both creative and fun. Her classes cover various digital tools like Photoshop and Illustrator, and she encourages students to take internships to enhance their skills. Emily's favorite aspect of digital design is animation, where she enjoys experimenting with techniques to create engaging visuals. Her goal is to inspire students to explore their creativity through digital media.
