Richard Rico is a sports photographer who has been capturing moments at Newman University for three years. He takes photos of various sports events like softball, baseball, soccer, volleyball, and tennis. Richard enjoys the challenge of finding good lighting and different angles to capture the best moments. He started photography back in the 1970s and picked it up again after retiring. Richard's favorite part of his job is capturing the energy and emotion of athletes and cheerleaders during games and events. He believes that capturing the moment is more important than having perfectly sharp photos.
