Joel Godett knew that he wanted to be a play by play broadcaster as soon as he attended the Bruce Beck and Ian Eagle Sports Broadcasting Camp in High School. Since then, he has worked just about every sport possible, and worked with a number of notable broadcasters, before finally ending up as the voice of the Ball State University while dabbling in network TV at CBS Sports Network. He also hosts a podcast very similar to this one, "Play by Playcast" (Available Here) that currently has over 150 episodes! We talk calling a national championship game at Syracuse, jumping all around minor league baseball, radio vs. TV at Ball State and much more in episode 6 of the On the Air Podcast.
