Description

We’re giving our thoughts on The Teacher by Freida McFadden in this week’s episode. We discuss why some kids suck (bullies and those with a superiority complex come to mind), touch again on dumb protagonists, and mention how shared trauma can bring the unlikeliest of people together. We also talk about twists that don’t make sense (there is only so far you can suspend your disbelief), the need for more backstory, and plot holes galore. Finally, we challenge the tendency to minimize the inappropriateness of certain types of teacher-student relationships (do you agree?). Leave a comment to let us know what you think of the book!
