Did you ever think about what makes Shakespeare’s characters so different? It might closer than you think. Let’s hear what Adam Randell, professor of psychology, actor, and director, has to say about thought. As we look at Macbeth and Hamlet, we’ll discuss communities of violence and loneliness and how we can see those elements in our communities today. We’ll delve into what theater allows in terms of building community both backstage and in the audience.

Thank you to our guest Dr. Adam Randell.
Doctor Adam Randell is an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Central Oklahoma. Though, psychological research has been his life’s professional passion, for the last two decades he has also pursued his second professional love of theatre whenever possible by acting in and directing over two dozen shows. He enjoys these pursuits with his stage manager wife, Mandi and their (hopefully) future thespian son, Clark.
