I AM Part 1: The Most Powerful Statement

- If you don’t know who you are you will believe everything that people call you
- Jesus Christ knew who He was and had no doubt of His purpose on this earth
- There are seven I am statements in the book of John that Jesus Christ declares
Gospel of John
- I am the Bread of Life (John 6:35)
- I am the Light of the World (John 8:12)
- I am the Door (John 10:9)
- I am the Good Shepherd (John 10:11,14)
- I am the Resurrection and the Life (John 11:25)
- I am the Way and the Truth and the Life (John 14:6)
- I am the Vine (John 15:1,5)
There are 5 in the Book of Revelation
- ““I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1:8 NKJV)
- “I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. (Revelation 1:18 NKJV)
- I am He who searches the minds and hearts. (Revelation 2:23 NKJV)
- “Behold, I am coming quickly! (Revelation 3:11 NKJV)
- I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright ando Morning Star.”m(Revelation 22:16 NKJV)
- It will benefit us to know who Jesus is in our lives
- The miss interpretation of who He is causes confusion and can translate to us not even knowing who we are
The Great I AM
- I AM is the name of God
- It carries weight and is very prophetic
- It is used in making vows and contracts
- I ____ agree and understand
- When God introduces Himself to Moses as I AM, He was Giving Him a blank check
- If you want provision, I am that
- If you want healing, I am that
- If you want deliverance, I am that
- If you want victory, I am that
- If you want advance in your career
- If you want peace in your home
- Whatever you want I am
- I am is the presence tense
- God had always been known as God of the previous generation
- That’s good but, what about me/us?
- The God of the past becomes a ferry tale God
- I am facing a challenge now and you tell me about the past
- God of the past must be the reference of what He is doing now and what He will do in the future
- We attain what is in the future by faith
- Today is the future of yesterday
- The best time to live is now, today
- Celebrate Gods love today
- Tell your loved one that they are special today
- Give your life to Jesus today

Small I am
- You are a small I am and whatever you say about you will become your reality
- If you don’t pronounce what God promises you to be in faith the results will align with everything else you say you are
- I am frustrated
- I am sick of this
- I am tired and exhausted
- I am lost
- I am angry
- I am anxious
- I am losing patience
- I am not good enough
- I am stupid
- I am poor
- I am confused
- If you say these words long enough you will start believing them and you will surely see them coming to pass
The contrary works the same
- I am a child of God
- I am walking in the light
- I am born again
- I am victorious
- I am rich
- I am the head and not the tail
- I am full of wisdom
- I am joyful
- I am strong and powerful
- I am patient
- I am confident
- I am brilliant
- I am productive
- I am important
- I am good at this
Cancel the negative (-)with the positive (+2)
- This is motivational + spiritual
- There are no negative type of people like Christians today
- We need to be encouraged and to know who God has made us to be

Conclusion:
- Jesus is saying I am here for you
- I am your saviour
- When the world forsake us Jesus will take care of me
- You are not forgotten, the great I am is with you
