Zel is captured and tortured by the Baron Basil Dukas. Unaware of his plight, Maeve meets with Dodger in the street orphan's sewer hideout. Dodger explains that Ravos, their adopted father, has taken Maeve's mandolin. Maeve wastes no time breaking into Ravos' townhouse in the Grand Bazaar to steal it back. But things don't go as planned.
