The party barely escape into the Mirrak Mines, with the Aronax Matriarch hot on their tails.
They make a deal with the warden, Captain Nazer, to delve into a previously undiscovered dungeon hidden deep under the mines. In return, Nazer will grant their freedom and a way back to the glorious city of Gahja'den.
