Detailed:
Amnon the rape offender raped his half sister, Tamar. Amnon didn’t see Tamar as family and often referred to her as only the sister of Absalom. He was obsessed with her and he could not think well regarding his love for Tamar. This led him to concoct a strategy to get Tamar alone so he can rape her. Following her being raped, he hated her and disrespected her. He kicked her out of his home and bolted the door. When King David heard of this saddening incident, he became furious. Absalom, upon hearing the news became very angry and didn’t talk to Amnon. He was also plotting to kill Amnon for raping his sister.
