Episode 3 – The Case of the Passive-Aggressive Project Manager
The Department of Corrections is back in session. Training File #3 has just hit Agent Fixer’s desk — and this one’s a report from a project manager who’s managed to be passive, aggressive, and grammatically incompetent all at once.
Case File:
"In regards to the team’s progress, it was expected they finish the report last week, but apparently they are still work on it. I have been told that several tasks wasn’t completed because certain people have “other priorities.” The client says they will been waiting for updates since Monday, which makes it difficult to assure them everything goes as planned. By the time the next meeting happens, I am hoping the work will had been done — but I am not holding my breath."
Your mission? Break it down into four phrases, clean up the tense tangles, and post your stitched-together rewrite where the Department can see it.
Think you can fix this grammar crime without spilling Agent Fixer’s coffee? He doubts it… but he’ll be watching.
