Whether running a marathon, or trying to get an enterprise off the ground, or beginning a relationship, there will come a point, after we've been at it for a while, where enthusiasm, drive, motivation all dry up. This slump is natural. But if we don't force ourselves to get out of it, the endeavour is in jeopardy.
