LT Kodzo believes fiction has the power to heal. Throughout the late 70s and early 80s, she spent her adolescence balancing great relationships with teachers while making self-destructive decisions outside of the classroom. As a mother and grandmother, her writing speaks to the value of every person. She has received multiple awards, including the president’s volunteer service award in 2011 for her commitment to working with educators and mental health professionals to bring awareness to a critical issue facing our nation’s youth.
