The anime starts off with no context as to what is going on and slowly eases you into what will happen for the first couple of episodes before it is chaotic and confusing all while killing off everyone that is simultaneously having their background story told to you in the episode that they die in. It is a bloody show and with a fair amount of drama an open-as-heck ending.
