Jackson Dearing served his mission in Saint George, Utah. There were times when Jackson felt that the missionary work was dry in his areas (and not just because Saint George is a desert). It was in these times that Jackson learned how to follow the Spirit, align his will with God's, and allow Christ and His Atonement to change him.
