So before we get into all the juicy stuff, we might as well talk about why a lot of scientist are so perplexed by our lack of observations of intelligent life existing outside of our solar system. A famous scientist calculated that by now we should see tons of signs of other planets having traces of life. Because we clearly don't see any signs of intelligent life, it has become a paradox to a lot of astronomers who study the possibilities of life outside our own world. So let's talk about the Fermi Paradox!
