𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 3 𝐄𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐝𝐞 5: “𝑯𝑶𝑴𝑬𝑪𝑶𝑴𝑰𝑵𝑮”

𝑭𝑻. 𝑰𝑨𝑵 𝑪𝑨𝑹𝑳𝑶𝑺 𝑪𝑹𝑨𝑾𝑭𝑶𝑹𝑫 (𝑺𝑳𝑨𝒀𝑬𝑹𝑭𝑬𝑺𝑻’98 𝑷𝑶𝑫𝑪𝑨𝑺𝑻)

As the Sunnydale High Homecoming dance approaches, Buffy finds herself in a full-on rivalry with Cordelia for the coveted crown. But when a mysterious Slayer-hunting competition called “SlayerFest '98” kicks off, Buffy and Cordelia mistaken for Faith —leaving them stranded in the woods, fighting for their lives. Meanwhile, alliances and romantic tensions brew back at school, and the race for Homecoming Queen gets as brutal as the battlefield.

This week on Revamped we’re joined by SLAYERFEST98 host Ian Carlos Crawford to tackle the chaos and comedy of Homecoming. We break down what it’s like to literally be hunted as a Slayer, laugh our way through Buffy and Cordelia’s homecoming queen rivalry, and dig into why this whole ordeal actually means so much to Buffy. The three of us also land firmly on the side of “ICK” when it comes to Willow and Xander’s secret love moments (a.k.a. cheating on their partners), and we award Cordelia full credit for her bravery and those surprisingly clever “tact-tics” she uses to protect Buffy.
