8:04am - Hamas announced that they’re suspending the release of hostages planned for Saturday until further notice due to alleged Israeli violations of the ceasefire deal.
8:10am - Donald Trump announced that Palestinians won’t have the right to return to Gaza under his plan for US ownership of the area.
8:48am - At least 40 people died after a bus plunged off a bridge in Guatemala.
9:20am - Kendrick Lamar and SZA announced that they’re expanding their tour through Europe.
9:20am - Addison Rae announced a new single, “High Fashion”, which will be out this Friday.
10:15am - 22 states sued to block the Trump Administration’s cuts to the National Institutes of Health research payments.
10:20am - “Captain America” actor Anthony Mackie has been named the grand marshal for the Daytona 500.
11:00am - In a leaked internal memo, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has, effective immediately, banned all transgender people from entering the military. And while he didn’t immediately call for the expulsion of currently enlisted trans service members, he delegated authority to one of his undersecretaries to provide "additional policy and implementation guidance" about their continued service, which could lead to a more exhaustive ban down the line.
12:10pm - Amy Poehler announced she’s launching a new interview-based podcast in March, called “Good Hang with Amy Poehler”. She describes it as, "These are tough times, we’re just trying to have a good laugh. I think sometimes we ask women to be teachers and healers. I’m looking for some good dumb fun."

1:10pm - Axios reported that Elon Musk said that a group he runs was going to be making an unsolicited offer of $97.4 billion to control OpenAI.
1:11pm - Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, responded on Twitter saying “no thank you but we will buy twitter for $9.74 billion if you want”
2:00pm - Google updated their calendar application to remove Pride Month and the start of Black History Month.

2:23pm - A federal judge in Massachusetts blocked the Trump Administration’s rate change to National Institute of Health grants.
2:42pm - Donald Trump implemented a 25% tariff on all steel and aluminum products, with no exemptions.
3:02pm - In response to Hamas’s announcement that they aren’t releasing hostages, Trump said that if all Israeli hostages aren’t released from Gaza by noon on Saturday, that “all hell is going to break loose.”
3:21pm - Yet another plane crash has happened, this time shutting down the Scottsdale Airport in Arizona, after it appears that a jet veered off the runway after landing, crashing into another jet. At least one person has died as of the time of this recording.
3:30pm - In the same interview with Bret Baier on Fox News, Trump left the door open to Russia taking over Ukraine, saying Ukraine may or may not “be Russian some day”.
3:54pm - The Department of Justice has ordered the Manhattan US attorney to drop prosecution of New York City Mayor, Eric Adams.
