Description

In this episode of The YLF Experience Podcast, I break down what midweek adjustments really mean and why they are one of the most powerful tools you have in your fitness and personal growth journey.

We talk a lot about making decisive decisions. You commit to a plan. You move forward with confidence. And sometimes it blows up spectacularly. Sometimes you get it completely wrong. You mess up. You fall short.

That does not mean you quit. It means you pick up the pieces, learn what you need to learn, and move forward.

Midweek adjustments are the micro version of resilience. We set minimum daily actions. We tie those into weekly goals. Then in the middle of the week we pause and ask one simple question. Am I pacing well?

If the answer is yes, you keep going.
If the answer is no, you adjust.

Maybe the week did not start how you wanted. Maybe life got busy. Maybe you overshot your expectations and set stretch goals instead of realistic ones. This episode is about learning how to assess without judgment, recalibrate without drama, and continue moving forward without spiraling.

I also talk about how most people define failure incorrectly. What you call failure is often just a bump in the road. A missed workout. A skipped habit. A week that did not go perfectly. Those are not signs to stop. They are opportunities to refine your approach.

When you build your week with intention, reflect on Saturday, plan ahead for Monday, and allow space for adjustments, most weeks start to look consistent. And when something unexpected pops up, you are prepared to adapt instead of collapse.

This is the inside/out process in action. Trust yourself. Look for the wins. Reframe failure. And keep going.

If you have thoughts, questions, or need help making your own midweek adjustment, email me or book a call. There is still time this week to reset and finish strong.
