Jeff Groban is a lifelong skater & now owner of the Skatin' Place in Abilene Texas. Jeff has had nearly a lifetime's worth of experience working in every capacity of rink management. As a rink owner, Jeff's passion for skating only continues to grow year after year. One way this is demonstrated was through his desire to host a shuffle event in Abilene which he made happen. January 2025 will mark the 3rd Texas Shuffle Showdown that has become a favorite event for many. To a person, everyone that has had the pleasure of getting to know Jeff will tell you that his passion for skating and dedication to all skaters is hard to match. I sat down with Jeff to discuss everything from his first memory of skating to now owning his own rink and hosting events!
