Not all stories about football players are tales of winning trophies fabulous wealth and a life mingling with stars. Anthony Potts was a prodigiously talented young player likened in his youth to Kenny Dalglish, on signing for Spurs and becoming a member of the same squad as "Gazza" and Gary Lineker he looked primed for premier league stardom until one day an injury started a decline that lead to retirement and a dream ended at the age of 23. This is his story laced with tales of a friendship with Gazza and a career which saw him end up in New Zealand before early retirement and a new career as a teacher.
