Full disclosure: I was half-asleep when I got the idea for this carcast... and immediately forgot it as soon as I pressed record. SMH. There's some silence as I waited for the thought to come back - and though you couldn't hear it, please know that my brain was NOT waiting patiently, and kept telling me to cut and run... And so, thank you for your patience. Thank you for waiting with me, holding space for me as I struggled with the discomfort of knowing I just lost the idea I had...and staying with me as I surrendered to the uncomfortable silence and FELT the embarrassment from forgetting, thus leaving you in the same silence. Perhaps it wasn't uncomfortable for you. Perhaps the next time it won't be so uncomfortable for me... who knows?!?!
