Robin Jonas is a former educator, mom of two beautiful girls who inspired her to go on this journey, and wife to Darren, who supports her vision to impact other women's lives. Other the last 20+ years, she has been learning, shifting, and growing, which has led her to create a healthier, balanced lifestyle for her family. She is a lifelong learner, loves sharing and empowering women to go on their own health and wellness journey to create the life they desire. Using the 1% Shift Method helps her clients learn the importance of creating small shifts that lead to sustainable habits to create the best results. Robin's Notes from the Sidelines:
⢠We need a tribe when our children are growing, and when our children leave.
⢠Don't outsource your power. We hold the power; we know our bodies best.
⢠If you don't have any other identity besides mom, empty nesting will be a challenge.
⢠You cannot change things overnight; change happens with 1% shifts.
⢠You are always going to face judgment. Not everyone is going to like you. Differences are an opportunity to share and teach.
⢠You should not judge others for their decisions; instead, get curious.
⢠You have to get uncomfortable to grow. Ask yourself, "What is this discomfort trying to teach me?"
⢠Who you surround yourself with matters.
⢠It's important to have quiet time every morning to go inward, so you can show up better for yourself and others. There is always time -- it can be any time of day, and the amount of time doesn't have to be one complete block. But make it a rule to avoid your phone first thing in the morning; rather, express gratitude or set a positive intention.
⢠You can do personal growth for free -- library books, online resources, YouTube videos, relationships.
⢠Whatever your lived experience has been so far, it's been what you needed, and now, in the next chapter, you get to create the best version of yourself... BECAUSE YOU'RE WORTH IT!!!
