A bee was once drowning in a river when a kind dove saw it struggling. The dove quickly plucked a leaf and dropped it into the water, allowing the bee to climb onto it and reach safety. Later, when a hunter aimed his arrow at the dove, the bee recognized its savior and stung the hunter’s hand, causing him to miss his shot. The dove flew away unharmed.
