The Book of Ruth begins with a woman named Naomi. In the first five verses of this book, she has been dealt one blow after another. First she endures a famine, then her husband dies, then her sons both die. She has no prospects and little hope. Sometimes we can feel like Naomi. But this is a book about God’s faithfulness.
