Today, we look at two stories from John. Jesus meeting Nicodemus and Jesus meeting the Samaritan woman. These two people are different in every way: he's an expert in the Law, she's sinful; he seeks out Jesus, she stumbles upon Jesus; he's prestigious, she's from a hated group. They're different in every way but one, and that way is what unites us all: a need for Jesus and the salvation he offers.
