In this passage, Jesus heals a man who’s been an invalid for 38 years. But it also exposes various avenues that people try to pursue for finding life. For some, it’s superstitions, for others, it’s obedience. Both ultimately fail. It is through Jesus that we find life, holiness, and ultimate healing.
