Description

Recorded from my place on Sonnenallee in Neukölln, this episode dives into my first month in Berlin and everything it has brought with it. From job applications to running races, it’s been a full-on experience of both exploration and reflection. I share insights into why I made the move, the challenges of finding a home and a job, the warm welcome I found in Berlin’s running clubs, and the importance of not getting stuck in my own headspace.

Reflecting on surprising discoveries, big likes and dislikes, and managing expectations, I’ll touch on how journaling has helped me process everything and keep a balanced outlook. I also talk about saying yes to unexpected opportunities when things don’t go as planned.

Action Item: Put yourself in an uncomfortable situation this week. Find something that scares you but will help you progress and then take affirmative action.

Something to Think About: For difficult things, try to think of ways that they can be fun or how you can extract the most joy out of them

Gratitude: Grateful for the chance to race in a new city and country, and the support of friends like Anna along the way.

Lesson: We always have more to give!
