Description

We’ll look at how engaging in politics is not a separate part of life but connected with our faith. It’s more than choosing sides—it’s about making sure our actions align with God’s kingdom. Through Abraham, we’re reminded of the “exile mindset,” waiting on God, trusting His promises, and not taking matters into our own hands.

How we engage in politics should reflect the way we live out our calling as Christ's representatives. Whether it’s voting, advocating for what is just, or serving our neighbors, our purpose is to bring glory to God.

While the political climate often leads to anxiety and frustration, we are reminded that no government or leader will ever fully deliver what only Christ can. Our confidence rests in God, not in human systems.

Ultimately, as exiles in this world, we are tasked with investing in the welfare of where we live, but our ultimate hope is in Christ’s kingdom. Our role isn’t about entitlement but stewardship. We are here to serve and do good, pointing back to Jesus, our true King, in everything we do.
