When I worked full-time in television, in New Zealand in the 1980s, I got to interview quite a few 'personalities' as we called them back then. They included Rowan Atkinson, Spike Milligan, Irish comedian Dave Allen, Arthur Lowe of Dad's Army fame, and Dame Edna herself, Barrie Humphries, among many others.
