Game of the Show: Gunfire Reborn
Published by Duoyi (Hong Kong) Interactive Entertainment, MSRP $20, Buy on Humble (Partner Link)
What a lighthearted, cool game! I started playing it after looking for a looter-shooter following a very nice Borderlands 3 experience. Gunfire is a rouge-lite shooter (with up to 4 players co-op but I played it solo for the most part) where you select a character with special abilities and go through a variety of (somewhat?) generated levels and boss fight. Weapons and power upgrades are random which adds a lot of replayability value.
The game is still in early access even though it feels baked, for the most part, It’s a perfect game for 30-45 minutes of shooting time without taking itself too seriously or committing.
