Description

In this series we do our first book review, covering the wonderful book by Johann Hari, Stolen Focus. Here’s how I would sum up the book in 3 sentences: Our focus is deteriorating which is leading to a lower quality of life. The main culprit of our focus-attrition are digital devices, followed by poor sleep. lack of nutrition, environmental toxins, and a sedentary lifestyle. If we want to reclaim our focus, we need to start by taking personal responsibility for our actions and, at the same time, bond together to help enact regulations that prioritize Social Growth over Economic Growth. Over the course of the next 3 episodes we will look at 10 nuggets of wisdom we can pull from Stolen Focus. There are countless bits of great information in the book but, sadly, we don’t have the time to review everything.
