One thing we learn from history is that we don’t learn from history. To help reverse this problem, I’m starting a new series called “Lessons from History”.
In today’s episode, we actually cover an historical lesson that comes from a fiction book. The book is 1984 written by George Orwell.
For those of you haven’t read the book, I give a brief rundown of the plot of 1984 at the beginning of the episode to help set the stage for the major lesson of the episode: the idea of doublethink.
