For many, many years society was led to believe that fat was the cause of all of our heart issues and that eating too much of it would make us fat and unhealthy. Fast forward many decades later and it turns out that fat plays a smaller role in heart disease than we thought and that the real culprit behind our weight-gaining society is sugar.
